Abstract

ABSTRAK SUCI AMELIA. ANALISIS PERANAN COLLATERAL VERIFICATION OFFICER DALAM PEMBERIAN KREDIT PEMILIKAN RUMAH PADA PT BANK TABUNGAN NEGARA (Persero) Tbk KANTOR CABANG PALEMBANG (Dibawah bimbingan ibu Rusmida Hutabarat SE, M.Si dan ibu Nur Even SE, MM) Penulisan ini membahas analisis peranan Collateral Verification Officer dalam pemberian Kredit Pemilikan Rumah pada PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang Palembang. Adapun tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui Peranan dari Collateral Verification Officer dalam pemberian Kredit Pemilikan Rumah pada PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang Palembang. Fokus penulisan ini adalah peran yang diberikan oleh Collateral Verification Officer dalam pemberian Kredit Pemilikan Rumah pada PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang Palembang. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode analisis data adalah kualitatif, dengan memperoleh data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumenntasi. Hasil penulisan ini adalah Aalisis peranan Collateral Verification Officer dalam pemberian Kredit Pemilikan Rumah pada PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang Palembang. Analysis of the Role of the Collateral Verification Officer in the Provision of Home Ownership Loans at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Palembang Branch Office. Supervised by Mrs. Rusmida Hutabarat, S.E., M.Si. and Mrs. Nur Even, S.E., M.M. This final project aims to analyze the role of the Collateral Verification Officer (CVO) in the provision of Home Ownership Loans (Kredit Pemilikan Rumah/KPR) at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Palembang Branch Office. The focus of this study is to examine the role of the CVO in verifying collateral as one of the essential stages in the home ownership loan approval process. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research method. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively based on the findings obtained from the field. The results of this study indicate that the Collateral Verification Officer plays a significant role in the home ownership loan process by verifying the authenticity and completeness of collateral documents, ensuring that the collateral data are consistent with the actual conditions, and providing recommendations to the authorized parties as a basis for credit approval decisions. This role contributes to minimizing credit risk and supports the implementation of the prudential banking principle in the distribution of home ownership loans.
