Abstract

ABSTRAK WAYAN ADI SUSILA. “Analisis Pendapatan Dan Tingkat Keuntungan Usaha Tani Melon di Desa Karang Anyar Kecamatan Semendawai Timur Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur.” Dibimbing Oleh Sri Rahayu Endang Lestari, SP.,M.Si. dan Gusti Fitriyana, S.P., M.Si Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya pendapatan dan tingkat keuntungan usahatani melon di Desa Karang Anyar, Kecamatan Semendawai Timur, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada periode panen tahun 2026 dengan menggunakan metode survei dan sampling jenuh terhadap 18 petani melon sebagai responden. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi karakteristik petani, penggunaan faktor produksi, biaya produksi, produksi, harga jual, penerimaan, serta perhitungan pendapatan dan rasio revenue–cost (R/C). Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menghitung total penerimaan (TP = Q × P), total biaya (TB = BT + BV), pendapatan (PDT = TP − TB), dan tingkat keuntungan menggunakan rasio R/C (R/C = TP / TB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata produksi melon sebesar 12.611 kg/ha dengan harga jual rata-rata Rp7.106/kg sehingga penerimaan rata-rata mencapai Rp89.527.778/ha. Total biaya produksi rata-rata sebesar Rp23.447.604/ha sehingga pendapatan rata-rata petani melon mencapai Rp66.142.672/ha. Nilai R/C rata-rata sebesar 3,85 (>1) menunjukkan bahwa usahatani melon di lokasi penelitian menguntungkan dan layak untuk dilanjutkan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut disarankan agar petani meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi sesuai anjuran teknis (peningkatan penggunaan pupuk kandang dan pengelolaan HOK) serta mendapatkan pelatihan budidaya untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan keuntungan.Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan meneliti faktor produksi yan g mempengaruhi pendapatan dan tingkat keuntungan. This study aims to analyze the income and profitability of melon farming in Karang Anyar Village, Semendawai Timur District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The research was conducted during the 2026 harvest period using a survey method and saturated sampling involving 18 melon farmers as respondents. The data collected included farmer characteristics, production factors, production costs, production output, selling prices, revenue, income, and the revenue–cost ratio (R/C). Quantitative analysis was conducted by calculating total revenue (TR = Q × P), total cost (TC = FC + VC), income (I = TR − TC), and profitability using the R/C ratio (R/C = TR / TC). The results showed that the average melon production was 12,611 kg/ha, with an average selling price of IDR 7,106/kg, resulting in an average revenue of IDR 89,527,778/ha. The average total production cost was IDR 23,447,604/ha, resulting in an average income of IDR 66,142,672/ha. The average R/C ratio was 3.85 (>1), indicating that melon farming in the study area is profitable and feasible to continue. Based on these findings, farmers are recommended to improve the efficiency of production factor utilization in accordance with technical recommendations, particularly by increasing the use of manure and improving labor management (HOK), as well as participating in cultivation training to maintain and increase profitability. Future research is recommended to examine the production factors that influence income and profitability.
