Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem proteksi pada BTS sangat penting karena sebagai pelindungi agar terhadap terjadi nya sambaran petir, jika terjadi sambaran petir maka sistem proteksi tidak bekerja dengan baik maka dari itu saya melakukan penelitian karena pada BTS PT.TELKOM terkena sambaran petir. Dari hasil pengukuran nilai R yang didapat pada proteksi eksternal yaitu : Nilai R pada penangkal petir 1,2 Ώ sedangkan Nilai R pada parallel grounding rod 0,55 Ώ dan Nilai R pada kaki tower 0,018 Ώ dari hasil tersebut pengukuran sudah memenui standar PUIL 2011. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan pada proteksi internal yaitu : Induksi pada kabel koaksial 111,864 V, Sedangkan arus puncak petir 31,92 kA, dan perhitungan tegangan pada arrester 4,472 kV. Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan tidak ada masalah yang terjadi karena memenuhi dari standar parameter arresternya, tetapi jika dilihat dari data yang telah ambil dari PT.TELKOM maka arus maksimum yang didapat yaitu tegangan maksimum 260 V dan arus maksimum nya 100 kA . Sehingga arus maksimum melebihi dari pada arus puncak petir. Kata Kunci : Proteksi, Base Transceiver Station PT.TELKOM ABSTRACT The protection system on the BTS is very important because as a protection against lightning strikes, if a lightning strike occurs, the protection system does not work properly, therefore I did research because the BTS PT.TELKOM was hit by a lightning strike. From the measurement results of the R value obtained for external protection, namely: The R value on the lightning rod is 2.8 Ώ while the R value on the parallel grounding rod is 0.55 Ώ and the R value on the tower leg is 4.9 from these results the measurement has met the PUIL standard 2011. While the results of calculations on internal protection, namely: Induction on the coaxial cable is 111.864 V, while the peak current of lightning is 31.92 kA, and the calculation of the voltage on the arrester is 4.472 kV. From the calculations that have been done, there is no problem that occurs because it meets the standard parameters of the arrester, but when viewed from the data that has been taken from the PT TELKOM, the maximum current obtained is a maximum voltage of 260 V and a maximum current of 100 kA. So that the maximum current exceeds the peak current of lightning. Keywords: Protection, and Base Transceiver Station PT.TELKOM
