Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses produksi air PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang dengan lean manufacturing metode ini digunakan untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya waste (kehilangan air) pada proses pengelolahan air pada PDAM Tirta Musi Rambutan. Dilanjutkan dengan analisis mengunakan Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Berdasarkan dari hasil perhitungan mulai dari proses kapasitas terpasang (air yang akan diproduksi) sampai dengan air yang akan distribusikan mengalami kehilangan air sebanyak 20,70% atau 20.698m3.di ksebabkan oleh 4 waste , defect, excessive transportasi waiting ,inappropriate processing dalam aktivitas pengelolahan air.
