Abstract

SUSANDRA, ''PERANCANGAN DAN PEMBUATAN ALAT PENGGEMBUR TANAH PENGGERAK MOTOR BAKAR''. DIBAWAH BIMBINGSN BAPAK IR. TOGAR PO. SIANIPAR, MT. DAN BAPAK IR. H. MUHAMMAD LAZIM, MT. Kata Kunci : Tanah, Motor Bakar, Mata Bajak   The development of agriculture in Indonesia cannot be separated from the role of farmers. Farmers have a very important role in increasing land productivity. In land management, some farmers still use simple equipment, especially for loosening the soil. The process of loosening the soil is carried out with hoes, shovels, harrows and so on. The process of tillage using simple equipment causes the loosening process to be slow and also the soil quality is not good. Besides, the use of simple equipment is considered less safe for farmers. For this reason, a soil loosening device was made which aims to provide affordable soil loosening equipment for the community and can accelerate the process of loosening the soil. The manufacture of this soil crusher utilizes the combustion motor as the main component where the rotation generated by the combustion motor is transmitted through components in the form of a v-belt, pulley, gearbox, sprocket so that the rotation of the combustion motor can rotate the plow blade, where the rotation of the plow blade is used to loosen the ground. After testing the soil loosening device with a combustion motor drive, it was found that the time needed to loosen the soil is faster and does not require excessive human labor and the results of the loosening using a tool are smoother than manual tools in the form of a hoe. Key words : Soil, Combustion Engine, Plowshare
