Abstract

ABSTRAK AGUNG KURNIAWAN. Respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman gambas (Luffa acutangula L.) akibat pemberian berbagai konsentrasi pupuk organik cair. Dibimbing oleh Rostian Nafery dan Ridwan Hanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman gambas (Luffa acutangula L.) akibat pemberian berbagai konsentrasi pupuk organik cair. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pulau Semambu Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian dimulai dari bulan Desember 2021 sampai dengan bulan Maret 2022. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 (lima) perlakuan yang terdiri dari P0 (kontrol), P1 (10 ml pupuk organik cair /l air), P2 (20 ml pupuk organik cair /l air), P3 (30 ml pupuk organik cair /l air), P4 (40 ml pupuk organik cair /l air) yang di ulang sebanyak 5 (lima) kali dan setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 3 tanaman sampel. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan perlakuan P2 (20 ml POC/l air) dapat menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman gambas yang baik, yaitu panjang sulur tanaman sebesar 54,20 cm pada umur 3 mst, jumlah daun sebanyak 19,13 helai pada umur 4 mst, sedangkan hasil tanaman yaitu panjang buah sebesar 18,27 cm, jumlah buah per petakan sebanyak 42,60 buah dan berat buah per petakan sebesar 7,82 kg, setara12 ton/ha ABSTRAK AGUNG KURNIAWAN. This study aims to examine the response to growth and yield of gambas (Luffa acutangula L.) due to the application of various concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer. This research was conducted in Pulau Semambu Village North Indralaya District Ogan Ilir Regency South Sumatra. The research starts from December 2021 to March 2022. The research design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 (five) treatments consisting of P0 (control), P1 (10 ml liquid organic fertilizer / l water), P2 (20 ml liquid organic fertilizer / l water), P3 (30 ml of liquid organic fertilizer / l of water), P4 (40 ml of liquid organic fertilizer / l of water) which was repeated 5 (five) times and each experimental unit consisted of 3 sample plants. The results of the study concluded that the P2 treatment (20 ml POC/l water) could produce good growth and yield of gambas plants, namely the length of the plant tendrils of 54.20 cm at the age of 3 mst, the number of leaves was 19.13 strands at the age of 4 mst, while plant yields, namely fruit length of 18.27 cm, number of fruit per plot of 42.60 fruit and fruit weight per plot of 7.82 kg, equivalent to 12 tons/ha
