Abstract

ABSTRAK Beton yang banyak digunakan dalam berbagai pekerjaan konstruksi yang memiliki banyak kelebihan, namun memiliki salah kelemahan diantaranya yaitu berat jenis yang cukup tinggi sehingga beban mati struktur sangat besar. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi berat jenis tersebut adalah dengan mengganti agregat alami dengan agregat buatan yang memiliki berat jenis yang lebih rendah. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian pembuatan beton dengan agregat ringan buatan, dimana agregat dibuat menggunakan fly ash dan epoxy resin dengan perbandingan 80% : 20%. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton masing-masing 3 buah di setiap pengujian pada umur 3, 7, dan 14 hari dengan hasil pengujian kuat tekan berturut-turut sebesar 10,28 Mpa, 11,31 Mpa, 12,44 Mpa. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton yang mengalami proses pembakaran pada umur 3,7,14 hari dengan hasil berturut-turut sebesar 18,57 Mpa, 10,28 Mpa, 7,45 Mpa. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton yang mengalami proses perendaman menggunakan asam sulfat pada waktu 60 menit, 120 menit, 180 menit dengan hasil berturut-turut sebesar 10,65 Mpa, 5,85 Mpa, 4,62 Mpa. Kata Kunci: Fly Ash, Agregat ringan, Kuat Tekan, Perendaman, Pembakaran. The results of testing the compressive strength of concrete are 3 pieces each in each test at age 3, 7, and 14 days with the results of the compressive strength test successively of 10.28 Mpa, 11.31 Mpa, 12.44 Mpa. The results of the compressive strength test of the soaked concrete at the age of 3,7,14 days with successive results of 18.57 Mpa, 10.28 Mpa, 7.45 Mpa. The results of the compressive strength test of concrete that were burned at a time of 60 minutes, 120 minutes, 180 minutes with successive results of 10.65 Mpa, 5.85 Mpa, 4.62 Mpa.
