Abstract

Electrical System Planning in the HighScope Indonesia Elementary School Building in Palembang. It is hoped that this will provide an idea of how much power is needed at the HighScope Indonesia Elementary School in Palembang and what KHA the conductors will use as well as the type of power limiter used. In addition, electrical planning must refer to the general requirements for electrical installations (PUIL 2011). From the results of calculating the lighting load, AC load, socket outlet and water pump, a total electrical power of 82,324 Watts or the equivalent of 102.9 KVA and a KHA of 196.25 A was obtained and a power limiter with a safety value of 160 A was used on the transformer leading to the PUTR. The supply plan from PLN is included in the electricity tariff category for medium industrial purposes, class I-2 with power starting from 14 KVA to 200 KVA. So the planned generator capacity that will be used is 200 KVA, 1 unit to be used as a backup supply in the event of a power outage from PLN.
