Abstract
ABSTRAK Pipa sebagai alat transfortasi untuk mengalirkan beragam fluida sangat banyak dipergunakan pada instalasi penyedia air minum, pabrik-pabrik dan industri-industri. Didalam pipa aliran fluida akan mengalami penurunan tekanan. Penurunan tekanan aliran dalam pipa sangat penting untuk diketahui guna merancang sistem perpipaan.Penurunan tekanan yang terbesar dari aliran fluida dalam pipa adalah akibat dari gesekan yang terjadi antara fluida dan dinding dalam pipa. Kekasaran pipa, jenis pipa, panjang dan diameter pipa, jenis fluida, kecepatan dan bentuk aliran adalah hal yang sangat terkait dengan penurunan tekanan, Pipa sebagai alat transfortasi untuk mengalirkan beragam fluida sangat banyak dipergunakan pada instalasi penyedia air minum, pabrik-pabrik dan industriindustri. Inside the pipe the fluid flow will experience a pressure drop. The pressure drop in the flow in the pipe is very important to know in order to design the piping system. The greatest pressure drop of the fluid flow in the pipe is the result of the friction that occurs between the fluid and the inner wall of the pipe. Pipe roughness, pipe type, pipe length and diameter, fluid type, velocity and flow shape are things that are closely related to pressure drop.
