Abstract

ABSTRACT DODI PEBRIANSYAH the effect of applying goat manure on the growth and yield of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) plantings. Supervised by Rostiana Nafery and Meriyanto. This research aims to examine the effect of each application of goat manure on the growth and yield of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.) carried out at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tridinanti University, located in Pulau Semambu Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research starts from June to September 2023. The method used in this research was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 (five) treatments and 5 (five) replications. Each treatment consisted of 75 plants, so the number of plants studied was 1,875 plants. The number of samples studied in an experiment was 5 (five) sample plants for each treatment. The factors studied were P0 = 0 control, P1 = 5 tons/ha, P2 = 10 tons/ha, P3 = 15 tons/ha and P4 = 20 tons/ha. The parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of pods per plant (pods), pod weight per plant (g), pod weight per plot (kg), number of seeds per pod (fruit), percentage of the number of pods containing ( %), weight of 100 grains (g) and plant dry plant weight (g). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of goat manure with P2 treatment (10 tons/ha) has a significant effect on all analysis parameters. P2 with a dose of (10 tons/ha) produced a plant height of 22.40 cm, pod weight per plant 27.12 grams, pod weight per plot 0.58 kg, dry fruit weight 117.02 grams, number of seeds per pod 1.40 grains, the number of pods per plant is 15.04, the percentage of pods containing 73.40% and the weight of 100 grains is 70.78 grams.
