Abstract
ABSTRAK Pelabuhan Tanjung Api-api merupakan penghubung utama antara Pulau Sumatera dan Pulau Bangka. Sejak Juli 2024, pelabuhan ini hanya memiliki satu jalur masuk dan keluar, yang sering menyebabkan kemacetan, terutama pada hari raya dan saat aktivitas bongkar muatan. Perencanaan dan perancangan rest area di kawasan pelabuhan sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung transportasi lanjutan serta menyediakan tempat istirahat sementara yang nyaman bagi para pengguna. Rest area ini dirancang dengan pendekatan arsitektur berkelanjutan yang menerapkan prinsip-prinsip ramah lingkungan, seperti pengoptimalan pengkondisian lahan, pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami, penggunaan panel surya, dan area hijau pada rooftop untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: perencanaan, perancangan, pelabuhan, rest area, arsitektur berkelanjutan. ABSTRACT Tanjung Api-api Port serves as a key connector between Sumatra and Bangka Islands. Since July 2024, the port has operated with a single entry and exit lane, frequently causing congestion, especially during holidays and loading activities. The planning and design of a rest area within the port area are crucial to support onward transportation and provide a comfortable resting place for users. This rest area is designed with a sustainable architecture approach, applying eco-friendly principles such as optimizing land conditioning, utilizing natural lighting, solar panels, and green rooftop areas to create a more efficient and sustainable environment.
