Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh parameter proses pembubutan terhadap kekasaran permukaan Aluminium 6061 dalam pembuatan worm gear. Parameter yang diuji meliputi Spindle Speed, Feed Rate, dan Depth of Cut.. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kecepatan makan menjadi faktor paling dominan yang memengaruhi kekasaran. Kombinasi parameter optimal ditemukan untuk memenuhi standar pembuatan worm gear. Penelitian ini diharapkan membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produksi worm gear berbahan Aluminium 6061. Kata Kunci: Aluminium 6061, Kekasaran Permukaan, Parameter Pembubutan, Worm Gear ABSTRAK This study aims to analyze the effect of turning process parameters on the surface roughness of Aluminum 6061 in worm gear manufacturing. The tested parameters include spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut. The analysis results indicate that feed rate is the most dominant factor affecting surface roughness. An optimal parameter combination was identified to meet the manufacturing standards for worm gears. This study is expected to help improve the efficiency and quality of Aluminum 6061 worm gear production. Keywords: Aluminum 6061, Surface Roughness, Turning Parameters, Worm Gear
