Abstract
ABSTRAK DEWA KRISNA. Respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi caisim (Brassica juncea L.) Akibat pemberian berbagai takaran pupuk kandang kotoran ayam. Dibimbing oleh Ir. Ridwan Hanan, M.P. dan Ir. Meriyanto, M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi caisim (Brassica juncea L.) akibat pemberian berbagai takaran pupuk kandang kotoran ayam. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di lahan yang berada pada dusun 1 (satu) Desa Benawa, Kecamatan Teluk Gelam, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan dari bulan September 2024 sampai bulan Desember 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 (enam) perlakuan dan 4 (empat) ulangan, Setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 40 tanaman, sehingga jumlah tanaman yang di teliti adalah sebanyak 960 tanaman. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti dalam setiap satuan percobaan berjumlah 4 (empat) tanaman. Dengan perlakuan P0 = 0 Tanpa pupuk kandang (kontrol), P1 = 5 ton pupuk kandang per hektar atau setara 30 g/tanaman, P2 = 10 ton pupuk kandang per hektar atau setara 60 g/ tanaman, P3 = 15 ton pupuk kandang per hektar atau setara 90 g/ tanaman, P4 = 20 ton pupuk kandang per hektar atau setara 120 g/ tanaman, P5 = 25 ton pupuk kandang per hektar atau setara 150 g/ tanaman. Peubah yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), luas daun (cm2 ), berat segar tanaman (g), berat kering tanaman (g). Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang kotoran ayam telah memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi caisim (Brassica juncea L.). Pemberian pupuk kandang kotoran ayam pada perlakuan P3 (90 g/lubang tanam) atau setara dengan 15 ton/ha menghasilkan tinggi tanaman 27,56 cm, jumlah daun 7,81 helai, luas daun 299,11 cm2 , berat segar tanaman seberat 51,56 g, dan berat kering tanaman sebesar 5,17 g. Meriyanto, M.Si. This study aims to determine the growth response and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) due to the provision of various doses of chicken manure fertilizer. This study was conducted on land located in hamlet 1 (one) of Benawa Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. This study was conducted from September 2024 to December 2024. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 6 (six) treatments and 4 (four) replications. Each experimental unit consisted of 40 plants, so that the number of plants studied was 960 plants. The number of samples studied in each experimental unit was 4 (four) plants. With treatment Po 0 Without manure (control), P₁ = 5 tons of manure per hectare or equivalent to 30 g/plant, P2 = 10 tons of manure per hectare or equivalent to 60 g/plant, P3 = 15 tons of manure per hectare or equivalent to 90 g/plant, P420 tons of manure per hectare or equivalent to 120 g of plant, P5 25 tons of manure per hectare or equivalent to 150 g/plant. The variables observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (blades), leaf area (cm²), fresh plant weight (g), dry plant weight (g). The results of this study can be concluded that the provision of chicken manure fertilizer has given a good effect on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The provision of chicken manure fertilizer in the P3 treatment (90 g/planting hole) or equivalent to 15 tons/ha resulted in a plant height of 27.56 cm, a number of leaves of 7.81 strands, a leaf area of 299.11 cm², a fresh plant weight of 51.56 g. and a dry plant weight of 5.17 g.
