Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan aplikasi CapCut sebagai media ajar dalam pembelajaran teks biografi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang dengan subjek siswa kelas X dan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana desain media pembelajaran dibuat dengan aplikasi CapCut, bagaimana validasi media oleh para ahli, serta bagaimana pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran. Desain media disesuaikan dengan kurikulum Merdeka, divalidasi oleh ahli materi, bahasa, dan desain. Media tersebut kemudian digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara tidak langsung, di mana siswa menonton video ajar berbasis CapCut dan mengerjakan LKPD melalui barcode yang terintegrasi dalam video. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa guru menyambut positif inovasi media ajar ini. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa merasa terbantu dalam memahami materi teks biografi dan merasa media ini menarik dan memotivasi. Hasil observasi juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa aktif, antusias, dan mampu bekerja sama selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi CapCut merupakan media pembelajaran yang efektif, menarik, dan relevan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran teks biografi. Media ini tidak hanya mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, tetapi juga meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi, dan pemahaman siswa. Kata Kunci: CapCut, Media Ajar, Teks Biografi, Metode KualitatifABSTRACK This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the use of the CapCut application as a teaching medium in learning biographical texts. This study was conducted at SMA Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang with subjects of grade X students and Indonesian language teachers. Data collection was carried out through documentation, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The purpose of this study was to determine how the design of learning media was made with the CapCut application, how the media was validated by experts, and how it was utilized in learning. The media design was adjusted to the Merdeka curriculum, validated by material, language, and design experts. The media was then used in the learning process which was carried out indirectly, where students watched CapCut-based teaching videos and worked on LKPD through barcodes integrated in the video. The results of the interviews showed that teachers welcomed this teaching media innovation positively. The results of the questionnaire showed that the majority of students felt helped in understanding the biographical text material and felt that this media was interesting and motivating. The results of the observations also showed that students were active, enthusiastic, and able to work together during the learning process. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the CapCut application is an effective, interesting, and relevant learning medium for use in learning biographical texts. This media not only supports the achievement of learning objectives, but also increases student motivation, participation, and understanding.
