Abstract

ABSTRAK penet Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Project Based Learning terhadap kemampuan menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Palembang tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 360 siswa dan jumlah sampel 72 siswa. Penentuan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling, yang menjadi sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X.A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning dan kelas X.B yang menjadi kelas kontrol menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes unjuk kerja menulis teks biografi pada siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata (t-test). Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning pada pretest dengan nilai 49,94 dan posttest dengan nilai 79,06 sedangkan kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada saat pretest dengan nilai 52,64 dan posttest dengan nilai 76,69. Nilai t-hitung yang diperoleh dari uji-t adalah 3,518 dan jika dibandingkan dengan t-tabel 1,667 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa t-hitung 1-tabel. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang dikemukakan sebelumnya dapat diterima dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Ha pada penelitian ini diterima dan Ho di tolak, yang berarti model Project Based Learning berhasil diterapkan pada materi ajar menulis teks biografi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini ialah model Project Based Learning lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada materi ajar menulis teks biografi pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. This type of research is an experimental research. The population in this study amounted to 360 students and the mumber of samples was 72 students. Determination of the sample by purposive sampling, which became the sample of this study was class XA as an experimental class using the Project Based Learning model and class X.B which became the control class using conventional learning methods. Data collection techniques in this study used a performance test for writing biographical texts on students in the experimentul class and the control class. Data were obtained using a two-average difference test (1 text). The results of the study showed that the average value of the class using the Project Based Learning model in the pretest was 49.94 and the posttest was 79.06 while the class using conventional learning during the pretest was 52.64 and the posttest was 76.69. The calculated t-value obtained from the t-test was 3.518, and when compared with the 1-table value of 1.667, it can be concluded that the calculated 1-value is greater than the t-table value. Thus, the previously stated hypothesis can be accepted with a 95% confidence level. Ha in this study is accepted and HO is rejected, Indicating that the Project-Based Learning model was successfully implemented in the teaching material of writing biographical texts. The conclusion of this study is that the Project-Based Learning model is more effective than conventional learning in teaching biographical texts for 10th-grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang.
