Abstract

ABstrak NURUL CHOIRIAH, Analisis kontribusi Sayuran Sawi Caisim Terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga Petani Di Kelurahan Sukamaju Kecamatan Sako Kota Palembang Sumatera Selatan. Dibimbing oleh Sri Rahayu Endang Lestari S.P, M.Si dan Ir. Ekanopi Aktiva MM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan usahatani sawi caisim, pendapatan non-usahatani, serta kontribusi usahatani sawi caisim terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani di Kelurahan Sukamaju, Kecamatan Sako, Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada April–Mei 2026 dengan menggunakan metode survei. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara sensus terhadap seluruh petani sawi caisim yang berjumlah 15 orang. Data yang digunakan meliputi data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara terstruktur dan kuesioner, serta data sekunder dari instansi terkait dan literatur pendukung. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menghitung biaya total, penerimaan, pendapatan usahatani, total pendapatan rumah tangga, dan kontribusi usahatani terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata penerimaan usahatani sawi caisim sebesar Rp1.546.667 per bulan, dengan total biaya produksi Rp383.167 per bulan, sehingga diperoleh pendapatan usahatani sebesar Rp1.163.500 per bulan. Sementara itu, rata-rata pendapatan non-usahatani sebesar Rp13.764.667 per bulan, sehingga total pendapatan rumah tangga petani mencapai Rp14.928.167 per bulan. Kontribusi usahatani sawi caisim terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani hanya sebesar 7,79%, sedangkan kontribusi pendapatan non-usahatani mencapai 92,21%. Dengan demikian, usahatani sawi caisim di daerah penelitian belum menjadi sumber pendapatan utama, tetapi berperan sebagai sumber pendapatan tambahan bagi rumah tangga petani. This study aims to analyze the income from caisim mustard farming, non-farm income, and the contribution of caisim mustard farming to the household income of farmers in Sukamaju Village, Sako District, Palembang City, South Sumatra. The research was conducted from April to May 2026 using a survey method. The sample was determined through a census of all 15 caisim mustard farmers. The data consisted of primary data collected through structured interviews and questionnaires, as well as secondary data obtained from relevant institutions and supporting literature. Data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating total production costs, revenue, farm income, total household income, and the contribution of farming income to household income. The results showed that the average revenue from caisim mustard farming was IDR 1,546,667 per month, with total production costs of IDR 383,167 per month, resulting in an average farm income of IDR 1,163,500 per month. Meanwhile, the average non-farm income was IDR 13,764,667 per month, bringing the total average household income to IDR 14,928,167 per month. The contribution of caisim mustard farming to farmers' household income was only 7.79%, while non-farm income contributed 92.21%. Therefore, caisim mustard farming in the study area has not yet become the primary source of household income but instead serves as a supplementary source of income for farming households.
