Abstract

RISKI UTAMI. The Effect of Placement, Promotion and Emotional Intelligence on Employee Productivity at PT. Ginting Jaya Energi, Tbk . (Under the Guidance of Mrs. Hj. Nina Fitriana, SE, M.Sc. and Mrs. Dra. Yasmina Martini, MM.) This study aims to determine, analyze and prove (1) The effect of placement, promotion and emotional intelligence on employee productivity at PT. Ginting Jaya Energi, Tbk. (2) The effect of placement on employee productivity at PT. Ginting Jaya Energy. (3) The effect of promotion on employee productivity at PT. Ginting Jaya Energi, Tbk. (4) The effect of emotional intelligence on employee productivity at PT. Ginting Jaya Energy. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The processed data is the result of a questionnaire distributed to employee respondents at PT. Ginting Jaya Energi, Tbk. In this study, based on the statistical f test conducted, it shows that simultaneously Placement (X₁), Promotion (X₂) and Emotional Intelligence (X₃) have a positive and significant effect on Productivity (Y) of employees at PT. Ginting Jaya Energi, Tbk. However, based on the t test (partial), Placement variable (X₁), Promotion variable (X₂) and Emotional Intelligence (X₃) each partially affect the Productivity (Y) of employees at PT. Ginting Jaya Energi, Tbk. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination (R²) it shows that placement, promotion and emotional intelligence have a contribution influence on employee productivity, amounting to 86% while the remaining 14% is influenced by other factors beyond those studied.
