Abstract

ABSTRAK YESSI:Penelitian ini ialah bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral pendidikan karakter dalam Antologi Cerita Rakyat Sumatera Selatan dan mendeskripsikan implikasi pembelajaran nilai-nilai moral pendidikan karakter dalam Antologi Cerita Rakyat Sumatera Selatan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan analisis data yaitu analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam buku Antologi Cerita Rakyat Sumatera Selatan ditemukan hanya 15 data nilai pendidikan karakter seperti, religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kreatif, mandiri, demokrasi, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Dalam penelitian ini ada tiga nilai pendidikan karakter yang tidak ditemukan dalam Antologi Cerita Rakyat Sumatera Selatan, yaitu kerja keras, menghargai prestasi, dan gemar membaca. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan supaya nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam Antologi Cerita Rakyat Sumatra Selatan ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan serta motivasi dan pengetahuan untuk anak-anak serta pengalaman membaca bagi anak-anak dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, yang dapat diarahkan untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bersosial di masyarakat. Kata kunci: cerita rakyat, pendidikan karakter, antologi ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the moral values of character education in the South Sumatra Folklore Anthology and describe the implications of learning the moral values of character education in the South Sumatra Folklore Anthology. Data collection in this study uses documentation and data analysis techniques, namely content analysis. The results of this study showed that in the South Sumatra Folklore Anthology book, only 15 data on the value of character education were found such as, religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, friendly/communicative, love of peace, care for the environment, social care, and responsibility. In this study there are three values of character education that are not found in the South Sumatra Folklore Anthology, namely hard work, rewarding achievements, and love to read. From the results of this study, it is suggested that the values of character education contained in the South Sumatra Folklore Anthology can be used as a reference as well as motivation and knowledge for children and reading experiences for children in Indonesian learning, which can be directed to apply character education values in daily social life in the community.
