Abstract

ABSTRAK MIFTA SARI SUNDARI, "THE INFLUENCE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND SOCIAL SECURITY ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES OF PT. ALAM JAYA WIRASENTOSA" (Under the guidance of Mrs. Hj. Agustina Marzuki, S.E.,M.Si and Mrs. Dian Septianti, S.E.,M.M) PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa is one of the distributor companies that until now has several branches in the Sumatra region. The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of emotional intelligence, organizational commitment and social security on employee performance. This study was conducted using a sample of 35 respondents who had filled out questionnaires. The results of this study are as follows: Y = 23.032 + 0.298 X₁ + (-0.126) X₂ + 0.345 X₃, this shows that Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Commitment and Social Security can improve the Performance of PT Employees. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa.. The results of the hypothesis test simultaneously show that the variables of Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Commitment and Social Security together affect the Performance of PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa. This is indicated by the sig value. F (0.000) < (0.05). The partial test results show that the Emotional Intelligence variable affects Employee Performance indicated by the sig t value (0.040) < (0.05), the variable Organizational Commitment has no effect on Employee Performance indicated by the value of sig t (0.376) > (0.05), the variable Social Security affects Employee Performance with the value of t sig (0.019) > (0.05) PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa must pay more attention to Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Commitment and Social Security to improve the welfare of its employees, and should also check Employee Performance regularly to evaluate and avoid factors that can hinder the Employee Performance process.
