Abstract
ABSTRAK AJIS SUPRIADI SILABAN. Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Kandang Kotoran Ayam terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Tomat (Solanum lycopersicum L.) dibimbing oleh Faridatul Mukminah dan Nova Tri Buyana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang kotoran ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat (Solanum lycopersicum L.). Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Jalan Talang Betutu Lama RT/RW 02/011 Perumahan Mega Asri II, Kelurahan Sukajadi, Kecamatan Talang Kelapa, Kabupaten Banyuasin, pada bulan April 2025 sampai dengan Oktober 2025. Metode percobaan penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 (enam) perlakuan dan 4 (empat) ulangan, masing-masing satuan percobaan terdiri dari 10 tanaman, maka jumlah tanaman yang diteliti sebanyak 240 tanaman. Jumlah sampel yang diamati dalam setiap satuan percobaan sebanyak 3 (tiga) tanaman. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah P0 = Tanpa pupuk kandang kotoran ayam, P1 = 15 ton per hektar setara dengan 37,5 g per polybag, P2 = 20 ton per hektar setara dengan 50 g per polybag, P3 = 25 ton per hektar setara dengan 62,5 g per polybag, P4 = 30 ton per hektar setara dengan 75 g per polybag, P5 = 35 ton per hektar setara dengan 87,5 g per polybag. Parameter yang di amati yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm) 7 HST, 21 HST dan 35 HST, jumlah daun (helai) 7 HST, 21 HST dan 35 HST, diameter batang (cm) 7 HST, 21 HST dan 35 HST, jumlah buah, berat per buah (g), berat buah per tanaman (g), diameter buah (cm) dan berat berangkasan basah (g). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang kotoran ayam berpengaruh baik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tomat yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diamater batang. Hasil tertinggi didapatkan pada perlakuan P4 = 30 ton/ha setara dengan 82,5 g per polibag, sedangkan pada fase produksi dan hasil seperti jumlah buah, berat per buah, berat buah per tanamamn dan diameter buah, nilai tertinggi ditemukan pada perlakuan P3 = 25 ton/ha setara dengan 75 g per polybag. ABSTRACT AJIS SUPRIADI SILABAN The Effect of Chicken Manure Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Tomato Plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.) Supervised by Faridatul Mukminah end Nova Tri Buyana. This study aims to determine the effect of chicken manure fertilizer on the growth and yield of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.). This study was conducted in Jalan Talang Betutu Lama RT/RW 02/011 Perumahan Mega Asri II, Sukajadi Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, from July 2025 to October 2025. The experimental method of this research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 (six) treatments was 4 (four) replications, each experimental unit consists of 10 plants, so the number of plants studied was 240 plants. The number of samples observed in each experimental unit was 3 (three) plants. The treatments in this study ware P0 = without chicken manure fertilizer, P1 = 15 tons per hectare equivalent to 37.5 g per polybag, P2 = 20 tons per hectare equivalent to 50 g per polybag, P3 = 25 tons per hectare equivalent to 62.5 g per polybag, P4 = 30 tons per hectare equivalent to 75 g per polybag, P5 = 35 tons per hectare equivalent to 87.5 g per polybag. The parameters observed were plant height (cm) 7 HST, 21 HST and 35 HST, number of leaves (strands) 7 HST, 21 HST and 35 HST, stem diameter (mm) 7 HST, 21 HST and 35 HST, number of fruits, weight per fruit (g), fruit weight per plant (g) fruit diameter (mm) and wet biomass (g). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the appliation of chicken manure fertilizer had a good effect on the growth of tomato plants, namely plant height, number of leaves and stem diameter. The highest results were obtained in the P4 = 30 tons /ha treatment, equivalent to 82.5 g per polybag, while in the production and yield phases such as number of fruits, weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant and fruit diameter, the highest value was found in the P3 = 25 tons /ha treatment, equivalent to 75 g per polybag.
