Abstract
Kata kunci: alih komoditi, karet, kelapa sawit, pendapatan, regresi linear berganda This study aims to analyze the conversion of rubber farming commodities into oil palm plantation commodities in Megang Sakti III Sungai Dangku Village and to identify the factors influencing this conversion. Primary data were collect-ed through a survey of 90 respondents, while secondary data were obtained from relevant institutions. The variables examined included rubber prices, oil palm prices, oil palm land area, oil palm farming experience, income differences be-tween rubber and oil palm farming, number of family dependents, age of oil palm plants, and age of rubber plants. Data were analyzed using multiple linear re-gression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method assisted by SPSS soft-ware. The results showed that, both partially and simultaneously, the variables of rubber prices, oil palm prices, land area, farming experience, income differ-ences, number of family dependents, age of rubber plants, and age of oil palm plants had a significant effect on farmers' decisions to convert commodities, with a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.997 indi-cates that the variables included in the model explain 99.7% of the variation in farmers' conversion decisions. The conversion from rubber farming to oil palm farming has a positive impact on increasing farmers' income and improving eco-nomic stability, making it an effective strategy for enhancing farmers' welfare. Keywords: commodity conversion, rubber, oil palm, income, multiple linear re-gression.
