Abstract

ABSTRAK Marlasnida Togatorop, “ Analisis Pendapatan dan Tingkat Kesejahteraan Petani Jagung ( Zea mays L.) di Desa Karang Endah Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim. ” ( Dibimbing oleh Ir. Eka Nopi Aktiva, MM dan Sri Rahayu Endang Lestari, SP., M. Si.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pendapatan usahatani jagung dan menganalisis tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga petani jagung di Desa Karang Endah, Kecamatan Gelumbang, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai Maret 2026 dengan menggunakan metode survei. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara Simple Random Sampling terhadap 30 petani jagung dari total populasi 150 petani. Data yang digunakan terdiri atas data primer yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, serta data sekunder yang diperoleh dari berbagai instansi terkait. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Pendapatan usahatani dihitung dari selisih antara total penerimaan dan total biaya, sedangkan tingkat kesejahteraan dianalisis menggunakan indikator garis kemiskinan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Tahun 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan usahatani jagung sebesar Rp7.954.857 per bulan. Rata-rata pendapatan riil petani setelah dikurangi pengeluaran rumah tangga sebesar Rp5.688.957 per bulan. Berdasarkan perhitungan pendapatan per kapita sebesar Rp2.651.619 per bulan, nilai tersebut berada di atas garis kemiskinan BPS Kabupaten Muara Enim Tahun 2025 sebesar Rp512.439 per kapita per bulan. Dengan demikian, rumah tangga petani jagung di Desa Karang Endah tergolong sejahtera berdasarkan indikator Badan Pusat Statistik. This study aimed to determine the income earned from corn farming and to analyze the welfare level of corn farmer households in Karang Endah Village, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research was conducted from February to March 2026 using a survey method. The sample consisted of 30 corn farmers selected through Simple Random Sampling from a population of 150 farmers. The data used included primary data obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, as well as secondary data collected from relevant institutions. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. Farm income was calculated as the difference between total revenue and total production costs, while the welfare level was analyzed using the 2025 poverty line indicators issued by Statistics Indonesia (BPS). The results showed that the average income from corn farming was IDR 7,954,857 per month. The average real income of farmers after deducting household expenditures was IDR 5,688,957 per month. Based on the per capita income calculation of IDR 2,651,619 per month, this figure was above the 2025 poverty line of Muara Enim Regency established by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), which was IDR 512,439 per capita per month. Therefore, corn farmer households in Karang Endah Village were classified as prosperous according to the welfare indicators of Statistics Indonesia (BPS).
