Abstract
ABSTRACT PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is a company engaged in the mining industry with the main product being coal. This study aims to identify potential hazards, risk assessment and control using the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. The results showed that there were 106 potential hazards in 9 work processes with the following details; 11 potential hazards to over head and jib crane operations, 12 potential hazards to vicorex machine operation, 6 potential hazards to grinding machine operation, 8 potential hazards to drilling machine operation, 7 potential hazards to cutting saw machine operation, 7 potential hazards to maintenance / repair at altitude, 19 potential hazards in repair of overhead panels and crane cars, 20 potential hazards in Control Panel Manufacturing and 16 potential hazards in refueling musicool filling. The results of the K3 risk assessment in the Main Workshop section showed 69 risks of work accidents with a medium to high risk level in 9 work processes. The focus of research is only for the highest risk in the Main Workshop section. Of the 69 risks that have been assessed, there are 4 risks with the highest high risk value, including broken fingers with a risk level of 16 (high risk), Fatality Accident with a risk level of 15 (high risk), Falling from a height with a risk level of 16 (high risk), and Faces are exposed to chemicals with a risk level of 16 (high risk). Keywords: Hazard, HIRARC, JSA,Occupational Health and Safety, Risk.
