Abstract

ABSTRACK ERICK RESTU KUMARA, 2022. Analysis of Planning and Control of Goods Inventory at PT Melania Indonesia. Supervised by Mrs. Meti Zuliyana, S.E.,M.Si.Ak.CA.CSRS and Mr. Rifani Akbar Sulbahri, S.E.,MM.,M.Ak,Ak.CA.ACP.CSRS. This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of planning and controlling merchandise inventory at PT Melania Indonesia using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This research was conducted at PT Melania Indonesia in Toys Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasian Regency, South Sumatra. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained in this study is primary data because it is through direct observation and interviews. Then the data is processed and analyzed quantitatively using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) formula. The results showed that the application of the Economic Order Quantity method in controlling raw material inventory can minimize the total inventory cost of Rp. 15.021.650 with a booking fee of Rp. 53.983.200 and storage costs Rp. 39.345.750.This means that the EOQ method explains that the company made an order 249 times. This is inversely proportional to the method used by the company, which is only 12 times in one period. Keywords: Planning, Inventory Control, Economic Order Quantity Method (EOQ)
