Abstract
ABSTRAK BOBY HARTAWAN. Respon pertumbuhan bibit tanaman aren (Arenga pinnata Merr) akibat pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh alami dari hasil fermentasi campuran tauge dan efektive mikroorganisme (EM4). Dibimbing oleh BASTANI SEPINDJUNG dan MIRANTY TRINAWATY Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh alami hasil fermentasi campuran tauge dan efektive mikroorganisme (EM4) terhadap pertumbuhan bibit aren (Arenga pinnata Merr.) dilaksanakan di di kelurahan VIII Ilir, Kecamatan Ilir Timur III Kota Palembang Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 02 Mei 2019 sampai dengan tanggal 16 July 2019. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 (lima) perlakuan dan 5 (lima) ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri dari 10 (sepuluh) tanaman, maka jumlah tanaman yang diteliti sebanyak 250 tanaman. Jumlah yang diteliti dalam satu percobaan yaitu pada 3 (tiga) tanaman contoh. Faktor yang diteliti adalah P0 = Kontrol, P1 = 25% zpt (250 ml zpt + 750 ml air) , P2 = 50% zpt (500 ml zpt + 500 ml air), P3 = 75% zpt (750 ml zpt + 250 ml air), P4= 100% zpt. Peubah yang diamati yaitu persentase perkecambahan (%), panjang tunas (cm), berat basah tanaman (g) dan berat basah kering tanaman (g). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh alami dari hasil fermentasi campuran tauge dan efektive mikroorganisme (EM4) tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap peubah persentase perkecambahan, panjang tunas umur 1mst dan 2 mst, berat basah tanaman, dan berat kering tanaman dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada peubah panjang tunas pada umur 3 mst sampai dengan umur 10 mst. The response of the growth of sugar palm seedlings (Arenga pinnata Merr.) due to the provision of natural growth regulators from the fermentation of a mixture of bean sprouts and effective microorganisms (EM4). Supervised by BASTANI SEPINDJUNG and MIRANTY TRINAWATY This study aims to examine the effect of giving natural growth regulators fermented from a mixture of bean sprouts and effective microorganisms (EM4) on the growth of sugar palm seedlings (Arenga pinnata Merr.) Carried out in the village VIII Ilir, Ilir Timur III District, Palembang, South Sumatra Province. This research was conducted on May 2, 2019 until July 16, 2019. The research design used was the Randomized Block Design (RBD) experimental method with 5 (five) treatments and 5 (five) replications, each repetition consisted of 10 (ten) plants, so the number of plants studied was 250 plants. The number studied in one experiment is on 3 (three) sample plants. Factors studied were P0 = Control, P1 = 25% zpt (250 ml zpt + 750 ml water), P2 = 50% zpt (500 ml zpt + 500 ml water), P3 = 75% zpt (750 ml zpt + 250 ml water), P4 = 100% zpt. The observed variables were germination percentage (%), shoot length (cm), plant fresh weight (g) and plant dry weight (g). Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the administration of natural growth regulators from the fermentation of bean sprouts and effective microorganism (EM4) has no significant effect on the percentage of germination percentage , long shoots age of 1mst and 2mst, plant wet weight, and plant dry weight and has a very significant effect on the length of the shoots at 3 mst to 10 mst.
