Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan pemanenan merupakan salah satu kegiatan penting dalam proses produksi minyak kelapa sawit. Kegiatan pemanenan terdiri dari pemotongan Tandan Buah Segar dari tandannya, pengumpulan, dan pengangkutan. Kegiatan pengangkutan pada proses pengumpulan tandan buah segar masih menggunakan alat bantu sederhana, yaitu berupa gerobak sorong yang didorong manusia. Kegiatan pengumpulan tandan buah segar ini merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang berat dan membutuhkan tenaga manusia yang besar. Topik utama dari perancangan ini adalah untuk mengurangi beban tenaga manusia pada saat mendorong kereta sorong dengan penambahan motor bakar sebagai tenaga putar. Kriteria desai untuk kereta sorong bermesin adalah memiliki kecepatan maju maksimum setara dengan kemampuan jalan manusia yaitu 5 km/jam. Kegiatan perancangan desain dilakukan dengan bantuan software CAD. Penambahan motor bakar diharapkan akan meningkatkan kapasitas angkut dari kereta sorong tersebut. Hasil perancangan kereta sorong bermesin ini menggunakan motor bakar 2 tak yang digunakan dari mesin potong rumput. Bagian fungsional yang mendukung fungsi utama adalah rangka, bak, dudukan mesin, motor bakar, sprocket chain, roda penggerak, tangki bahan bakar, dan handle pegangan gas. Kata kunci : Kereta Sorong Bermesin, Pengangkutan Buah Kelapa Sawit, Rancang Bangun Kereta Sorong Bermesin.  ABSTRACT Harvesting is one of the important activities in the process of palm oil production. Harvesting activities consist of cutting Fresh Fruit Bunches from their stands, collection and transportation. Transportation activities in the process of collecting fresh fruit bunches still use simple tools, namely in the form of wheelbarrow driven by humans. The activity of collecting fresh fruit bunches is one of heavy work and requires a large amount of human labor. The main topic of this design is to reduce the burden of human labor when pushing the wheelbarrow by adding a combustion motor as a rotating power. The criteria for design for a motorized wheelbarrow is to have a maximum forward speed equivalent to the ability of the human road which is 5 km / hour. Design design activities carried out with the help of CAD software. The addition of a combustion motor is expected to increase the haulage capacity of the wheelbarrow. The results of the design of this motorized wheelbarrow uses a 2 stroke combustion engine used from a lawn mower. Functional parts that support the main function are the frame, body, engine mount, combustion engine, chain sprocket, drive wheel, fuel tank and gas handle handle.
