Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Sematang Borang, Palembang, yang berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Banyuasin dan beberapa kecamatan lain. Kecamatan ini merupakan wilayah pertanian dengan luas lahan 1689,40 Ha dan terbagi dalam empat kelurahan. Jalan Husin merupakan akses utama menuju Sematang Borang dan Perumnas Sako, didominasi tanah lunak dan mengalami penurunan di beberapa titik. Kondisi tanah sangat mempengaruhi konstruksi perkerasan jalan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai CBR (California Bearing Ratio) tanah dasar (subgrade) di jalan tersebut. data primer berupa pengambilan data CBR lapangan menggunakan alat DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer) dengan metode zig-zag pada ruas jalan, dengan interval 100 m/STA. Setiap titik uji dianalisis nilai CBR-nya, dan nilai CBR desain dihitung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai CBR dari STA 0+000 hingga STA 0+1000 memenuhi standar 6%. Namun, berdasarkan MDPJ 2024, untuk STA 0+500 diperlukan perbaikan tanah dasar, seperti penggunaan material timbunan pilihan, stabilisasi kapur, atau stabilisasi semen, untuk mencapai standar CBR 6% melalui metode pemadatan atau geotekstil. Kata Kunci : Tanah Dasar, CBR Lapangan, DCP ABSTRACT This research was conducted Kecamatan Sematang Borang, Palembang, which borders Kabupaten Banyuasin and several other sub-districts. This Kecamatan is an agricultural area with a land area of 1689.40 Ha and is divided into four sub-districts. Jalan Husin is the main access to Sematang Borang and Perumnas Sako, dominated by soft soil and experiencing subsidence at several points. Soil conditions greatly influence road pavement construction, so this research aims to determine the CBR (California Bearing Ratio) value of the subgrade on the road. primary data in the form of field CBR data collection using a DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer) tool with a zig-zag method on road sections, at intervals of 100 m/STA. Each test point is analyzed for its CBR value, and the design CBR value is calculated. The research results show that the CBR value from STA 0+000 to STA 0+1000 meets the 6% standard. However, based on MDPJ 2024, for STA 0+500 basic soil improvements are required, such as the use of selected embankment materials, lime stabilization, or cement stabilization, to achieve the 6% CBR standard through compaction or geotextile methods.
