Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menyimak Stand-Up Comedy siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Palembang, mengetahui keterampilan menulis Teks Anekdot siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Palembang dan untuk mengetahui hubungan keterampilan menyimak Stand-Up Comedy dengan keterampilan menulis Teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 12 kelas yang berjumlah 413 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan tes uraian dan tes tertulis. Sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling purvosive. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 36 siswa. Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menyimak Stand-Up Comedy siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Palembang berkategori cukup yaitu sebesar (91,6%), keterampilan menulis Teks Anekdot siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Palembang berkategori cukup yaitu sebesar (38,8%), dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan menyimak dengan keterampilan menulis Teks Anekdot siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Palembang, dengan rhitung ≥ rtabel (0,514 > 0,329) maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan antara keterampilan menyimak Stand-up Comedy dengan Keterampilan menulis Teks Anekdot siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. Kata Kunci : Menyimak, Stand-Up Comedy, Menulis, Teks Anekdot, Kuantitatif. ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the listening skills of Stand-Up Comedy among tenth- grade students at SMA Negeri 11 Palembang, their anecdotal text writing skills, and the correlation between the two. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method and was conducted at SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. The population consisted of 413 students from 12 classes, with a sample of 36 students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included essay tests for listening and written tests for anecdotal text writing. The results showed that students' listening skills of Stand-Up Comedy were categorized as fair, with 91.6% falling into this category, while anecdotal text writing skills were also categorized as fair at 38.8%. The correlation test indicated a significant relationship between listening and writing skills, with the value of rcount ≥ rtable (0.514 > 0.329), meaning that the alternative hypothesis Ha is accepted and the null hypothesis Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between listening to Stand-Up Comedy and writing anecdotal texts among tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 11 Palembang.
