Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of work ethics and organizational culture on employee performance through organizational commitment as a mediating variable at the Pengadilan Tinggi Palembang. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 90 employees and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results show that work ethics and organizational culture have a direct positive and significant effect on employee performance. Indirectly, work ethics and organizational culture also have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through organizational commitment. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of strengthening ethical values and work culture in building employee commitment to improve organizational performance. This study suggests that organizational leaders should be more proactive in creating an ethical and culturally grounded work environment to enhance employee loyalty to the organization.
