Abstract

HUBUNGAN LITERASI DIGITAL SISWA DENGAN KEMAMPUAN MENGANALISIS FAKTA DAN OPINI TEKS LAPORAN OBSERVASI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 17 PALEMBANG Abstrak literasi digital merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam menggunakan dan menfaatkan teknologi secara baik, bijak, dan cerdas, sehingga dapat menghasilkan pengetahuan yang luas tetapi juga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam berpikir kritis dalam menggunakan media digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara literasi digital siswa dan kemampuan menganalisis fakta dan opini dalam teks laporan hasil observasi. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penguasaan literasi digital di era teknologi informasi sebagai penunjang kemampuan berpikir siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 11 kelas dengan jumlah 390 siswa sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.8 sebanyak 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket literasi digital dan tes uraian kemampuan menganalisis. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa tingkat literasi digital siswa berkatagori baik, sedangkan kemampuan menganalisis fakta dan opini berkategori baik. Namun, berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi Pearson, diperoleh nilai rhitung = 0,208 dan rtabel = 0,339 (0,208<0,339) dengan signifikansi 0,223 (>0,05), Maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa literasi digital siswa dengan kemampuan manganalisis fakta dan opini teks laporan observasi kelas X SMA Negeri 17 Palembang memiliki hubungan yang rendah namun tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi digital siswa dengan kemampuan menganalisis fakta dan opini teks laporan observasi kelas X SMA Negeri 17 Palembang. Kata Kunci: literasi digital, kemampuan menganalisis, fakta dan opini, teks laporan observasi Abstract Digital literacy is a person's ability to use and utilize technology well, wisely, and intelligently, so that it can produce extensive knowledge but can also improve the ability to think critically in using digital media. This study aims to determine the relationship between students' digital literacy and the ability to analyze facts and opinions in observational report texts. The background of this study is the importance of mastering digital literacy in the information technology era as a support for students' thinking skills. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation approach. The population in this study was 11 classes with a total of 390 students while the research sample was 36 students of class X.8. Data collection techniques in this study used a digital literacy questionnaire and a descriptive test of analytical skills. The results of the study showed that the level of digital literacy of students was categorized as good, while the ability to analyze facts and opinions was categorized as good. However, based on the results of the Pearson correlation analysis, the calculated r value = 0.208 and r table = 0.339 (0.208 <0.339) with a significance of 0.223 (> 0.05) were obtained. So it can be stated that students' digital literacy with the ability to analyze facts and opinions in observation report texts for class X of SMA Negeri 17 Palembang has a low relationship, but there is no significant relationship between students' digital literacy and the ability to analyze facts and opinions in observation report texts for class X of SMA Negeri 17 Palembang.
