Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Management Control Systems, Accountability, and Transparency on the effectiveness of sub-district fund management at the Sematang Borang Sub-district Office, Palembang City, both simultaneously and partially. The study used a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling method, involving 120 respondents, and data were collected through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS, including classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that simultaneously, management control systems, accountability, and transparency have a significant effect on the effectiveness of fund management. Partially, management control systems do not have a significant effect, while accountability and transparency have significant effects. The coefficient of determination indicates that 89.9% of the variation in effectiveness can be explained by the independent variables, while the remaining is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
