Abstract

Kota Palembang merupakan salah satu kota yang memiliki potensi pariwisata. Sebagaimana yang dijelaskan pada Undang-undang Dasar No.10 tahun 2009 tentang kepariwisataan. Kota Palembang selain dikenal sebagai kota pariwisata juga berkembang dibidang perdagangan dan industri. Dengan beragam jenis kerajinan tradisional yang harus dilestarikan diantaranya Kerajinan Kain songket, Jumputan, dan beragam accesories lainnya. Berbagai potensi kerajinan di Kota Palembang diatas tentunya suatu pertanda bahwa keberadaan sebuah sarana/fasilitas untuk mewadahi semua aktifitas terkait pemasaran, edukasi dan promosi hasil karya seni dan kerajinan yang sangat diperlukan dengan terbatasnya jarak dan lokasi yang sulit dijangkau dengan menerapkan tema Arsitektur Post Modern pada bangunan Pusat Kerajinan di Kota Palembang. Kata Kunci : Pusat, Kerajinan, Post-Modern ABSTRACT Palembang City is one of the cities that has tourism potential. As explained in the Basic Law No.10 of 2009 on tourism. Besides being known as a tourism city, Palembang City is also developing in the trade and industry sectors. With various types of traditional crafts that must be preserved, including Songket, Jumputan, and various other accesories. The various potentials of handicrafts in Palembang City above are certainly a sign that the existence of a facility / facility to accommodate all activities related to marketing, education and promotion of works of art and crafts that are needed with limited distances and locations that are difficult to reach by applying the theme of Post Modern Architecture to buildings Craft Center in Palembang City.
