Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan baja AISI 1045 sangat luas terutama pada bidang konstruksi, namun jika dilakukan pengelasan maka sifat mekaniknya berubah. Didalam penelitian ini dilakukan pada pelat baja AISI 1045 yang dilakukan pengelasan SMAW. Dilanjutkan proses perlakuan panas pasca las pada temperatur 600℃, 630℃, dan 660℃. Dari perlakuan tersebut maka nilai kekerasannya akan dibandingkan terhadap nilai kekerasan benda asal tanpa pengelasan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa nilai kekerasan benda uji yang dilas cenderung meningkat terutama pada logam isiannya. Dengan melakukan perlakuan panas pasca las pada temperatur 600℃, 630℃, dan 660℃, maka nilai kekerasannya sedikit menurun. Dari ketiga temperatur perlakuan panas pasca las tersebut, nilai kekerasan pasca las pada temperatur 630℃ mendekati nilai kekerasan pada benda asal tanpa pengelasan. Kata kunci : Baja AISI 1045, Pengelasan SMAW, Perlakuan panas pasca las ABSTRACT The use of AISI 1045 steel is very extensive, especially in the construction sector, but if welding is carried out, its mechanical properties change. In this study, it was carried out on AISI 1045 steel plates that were welded by SMAW. Continued post-weld heat treatment process at temperatures of 600 ℃, 630 ℃, and 660 ℃. From this treatment, the hardness value will be compared to the hardness value of the original object without welding. The results of the study showed that the hardness value of the welded test object tended to increase, especially in the filler metal. By carrying out post-weld heat treatment at temperatures of 600 ℃, 630 ℃, and 660 ℃, the hardness value decreased slightly. Of the three post-weld heat treatment temperatures, the postweld hardness value at a temperature of 630 ℃ approached the hardness value of the original object without welding.
